Hamara has grown to be the largest ethnic minority organisation in the voluntary and community sector in Leeds.Its latest venture has taken the group overseas to Pakistan and in establishing Hamara Overseas Pakistan Enterprise (HOPE), the organisations aim to reach and help those who are in real need of assistance.

Hamara seeks to promote the benefit of the inhabitants and primarily the South Asian inhabitants of Leeds, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations.
Activities:
Working primarily (but not exclusively) with the South Asian community, Hamara currently deliver several different strands of work.
Information and Advice, Health Promotion / Education, Older People’s Services, Women’s Activities, Sports and Exercise, Youth Services, Community Cohesion and Training Programmes are all key facets of its work.
